The Lamb Ranges

Last Saturday a tour took us up into one of our favourite rides, the Lamb Range 42 km circut (see -  http://www.tablelandadventureguides.com.au/impulse-ventures/guided-bike-ventures/ ).  The full ride starts with a steady 9 km uphill under a thick canopy of lush rainforest to Mount Edith and a short walk to the magnificent lookout.
Once over the ranges, we drop into the drier eucalypt forest for completely diferent views of the rich agricultural lands to the north before climbing once again to the south, heading up back over the ranges and down towards Lake Tinarro and the days end.
This time we had the minibus go ahead and prepare lunch – talk about being spoilt (but we’d do anything to make sure our guests were happy)!
Tinaroo Dam was just right for a quick cool down and cup of tea.  A great day thanks to all participants

Jeff / Pete – many thanks for a smashing day. The organisation & scenery was outstanding but what made the day extra special was sharing it with people so enthused with the environment and knowledgeable of the area. I’ve not stopped using the word pristine since! Hope to see you again.
