KAYAK – Camp Kayak – Lake Tinaroo

Unique shoreline exploration of Lake Tinaroo – fully supported multi day/overnight kayak with options
of cycle rides and walks

This unique trip starts at Tinaburra on the southern end of Lake Tinaroo and will take us along much of the beautiful 210km shoreline which is fringed by a fascinating variety of forest, ranging from dense rainforests to open eucalyptus.

We have the luxury of having all our camping needs attended to by our support team. They will set up camp in the National Park camp sites along the shoreline, including Curri Curri Pocket, Fong – On Bay and Kauri Creek.

The Dam is so large and the sense of freedom so exciting that many aspects of this exceptional trip can be negotiated along the way. For example, one day could be spent walking across the hills through some remote, stunning forest to meet up with the kayaks in another bay. Alternatively we could arrange to have the bikes brought to us for a little foray further into the hills or even walk up through the dense rainforest and swim in pristine, mountain chilled creeks. There are opportunities for swimming, bird watching, fishing, red claw trapping and even some spotlighting at night for some of the unique mammals that this region is renowned for.
