An exciting 4 day / 3 night, kayak, cycle and walk, fully catered for and supported.
Imagine a multisport event covering 3 days. We start at Tinaburra on the extreme southern shores of Lake Tinaroo. The first day is spent slowly kayaking and exploring to our Kauri Creek campsite. Early the next morning we transfer into the Lamb Ranges and embark on a challenging full days rainforest walk, following old timber snig tracks to Davies Creek National Park where We overnight in a bush camp. Early the next morning we tackle the Lambs Head peak (Kahlphalim Rock), the highest point in the Lamb Ranges. We return to our camp after the seven hour walk for a well deserved meal and rest.
Our final day involves a cycle on track and road from Davies Creek to Cairns Esplanade, over approximately 35 kms through both eucalypt and rainforest.
